🎨 Paint Brands & Products
What paint brands do you use?
We offer a curated selection of premium paints:
- Benjamin Moore - Premium quality, exceptional colours
- Nippon Paint - Trusted brand with tropical climate formulas
- Gush Paint - Singapore's eco-friendly brand
- Breathe Paint - Air-purifying and antimicrobial
- Zinsser - Specialist anti-mould
All paints are genuine and sourced directly from authorized distributors.
Which paint is best for Singapore's humid climate?
For Singapore's humidity, we recommend Gush Paint (locally formulated), Nippon Paint with their tropical climate range, or Breathe Paint with anti-mould properties. For bathrooms and wet areas, Zinsser Perma-White is the gold standard for mould prevention.
What is low-VOC paint and why does it matter?
VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds) are chemicals that evaporate from paint and can cause headaches, nausea, and respiratory issues. Low-VOC and zero-VOC paints like Breathe and Gush have minimal chemicals, making them safer for families, especially those with children, elderly, or allergy sufferers.
Can I provide my own paint?
Yes, you can provide your own paint if you prefer. We'll adjust the quote accordingly. However, we may not be able to offer the same warranty on paint quality if we haven't sourced the product ourselves.
How do I choose the right paint colour?
We offer free colour consultation. We can show you colour samples in your home's lighting, discuss trending colours, and recommend shades that complement your furniture and decor. Some brands like Gush also offer digital colour visualization tools.
🔧 Preparation & Process
How do I prepare my home for painting?
We handle most preparation, but you can help by:
- Moving small items and valuables from the rooms
- Taking down wall decorations
- Ensuring access to walls
- Informing us of any wall damage
We'll protect your furniture and floors with dust sheets.
Do you repair wall damage before painting?
Yes, minor repairs like filling nail holes, small cracks, and surface imperfections are included. Larger repairs such as extensive crack treatment, water damage repair, or replastering may incur additional charges, which we'll discuss during assessment.
How many coats of paint do you apply?
We typically apply 2-3 coats depending on the paint and colour change. Dramatic colour changes (e.g., dark to light) may require additional coats. Primer is applied when needed for best adhesion and coverage.
What happens if it rains during exterior painting?
For exterior projects, we monitor weather closely. If rain is forecast, we'll reschedule affected work. We never paint exterior surfaces when rain is expected within 4 hours, as this can affect paint adhesion and finish quality.
🛡️ Warranty & Quality
What warranty do you provide?
We provide a 2-year workmanship warranty covering peeling, flaking, and blistering under normal conditions. For new TOP/BTO units, we offer an enhanced 5-year paint warranty and 3-year mould warranty. See our warranty terms page for full details.
What does the warranty cover?
Our warranty covers:
- Peeling, flaking, or blistering of paint
- Colour fading beyond normal expectations
- Mould regrowth in treated areas (mould warranty)
- Workmanship defects
It does not cover damage from accidents, renovations, or water leaks from external sources.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Contact us via WhatsApp or email with photos of the issue. We'll assess the situation and schedule a visit if needed. Valid warranty claims are addressed within 7-14 working days.
Are your painters trained and insured?
Yes, all our painters are trained professionals with insurance coverage. We're a registered business in Singapore and comply with all workplace safety regulations.
