Standard Warranty All Projects
Applies to all painting projects under normal conditions.
Enhanced Warranty New TOP / BTO
Extended coverage for newly built properties with optimal wall conditions.
Eligibility: New TOP properties painted within 6 months of key collection, with no prior water damage or wall issues.
⚠️ Critical: Early Notification Required
To maintain warranty validity, you must notify us within 14 days of discovering any issue. Late notification may void warranty coverage. Keep photos and documentation of any problems.
What's Covered
- Peeling, flaking, or blistering of paint under normal conditions
- Bubbling or lifting from properly prepared surfaces
- Excessive chalking beyond normal weathering
- Colour fading significantly beyond manufacturer specifications
- Mould regrowth in areas treated with anti-mould products (mould warranty)
- Workmanship defects including drips, runs, and uneven coverage
- Primer failure on properly assessed surfaces
What's Not Covered (Exclusions)
- Damage from accidents, impacts, or physical abuse
- Damage from subsequent renovations or contractors
- Water damage from leaks, flooding, or plumbing issues
- Structural movement, settling cracks, or building defects
- Damage from cleaning with abrasive materials or harsh chemicals
- Normal wear and tear in high-traffic areas
- Issues arising from customer-supplied paint products
- Colour variations inherent to certain paint types (e.g., limewash)
- Issues in areas not painted by Pico X Health
- Damage caused by extreme weather events beyond normal conditions
How to Make a Warranty Claim
- Document the Issue: Take clear photos of the affected area, including close-ups and wider shots showing context.
- Contact Us Promptly: Notify us within 14 days via WhatsApp (8877 6747) or email (hello@picoxhealth.com) with your photos and original job reference.
- Assessment Visit: We'll schedule a site visit within 7 working days to assess the issue.
- Resolution: If the claim is valid, we'll repair or repaint the affected area at no cost within 14 working days.
Please retain your quotation and payment receipts as proof of service. Digital records are acceptable.
Warranty Conditions
- Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer
- Property must remain in residential use (or original designated use)
- Regular maintenance must be performed (dusting, normal cleaning)
- No unauthorized repairs or touch-ups to the painted surfaces
- Issues must be reported within 14 days of discovery
- Access must be provided for warranty inspection within reasonable timeframes
- Warranty repairs will be color-matched to the best of our ability; exact matches cannot be guaranteed due to natural fading
Mould Warranty Specifics
The mould warranty covers regrowth of mould in areas treated with our anti-mould products, subject to:
- Proper ventilation must be maintained (bathroom exhaust fans used regularly)
- No new water leaks or moisture sources introduced
- Humidity levels must be managed (air conditioning or dehumidification recommended)
- Areas must not be covered by furniture or items blocking airflow
- Initial mould source (if from water leak) must be repaired before treatment
Note: Mould caused by new water damage, blocked ventilation, or changed usage conditions is not covered.
