Puglian Soft / Airy Wellness Painting Theme

Puglian Soft pairs Gush Prana (NE024A) on the main walls with a Raffles Cotton Candy limewash feature wall — a warm, high-contrast earth neutral scheme that feels quiet, artisanal. It suits the living room or dining room, and works with clay pottery, raw timber, handmade ceramics. Its warm undertone glows under 3000K warm white in the evening; under 5000K daylight bulbs it reads cleaner and less golden. Puglian draws on the vernacular of Puglia, the heel of Italy, whose whitewashed masserie, trulli dry-stone conical houses and vaulted stone rooms developed within an agricultural landscape shaped by sun, olive groves and limestone.

Design history

History and meaning

Puglian draws on the vernacular of Puglia, the heel of Italy, whose whitewashed masserie, trulli dry-stone conical houses and vaulted stone rooms developed within an agricultural landscape shaped by sun, olive groves and limestone. Trulli, centred on Alberobello and dating largely from the eighteenth century, are a UNESCO-listed dry-stone type. The modern Puglian interior keeps whitewash, raw timber and handmade ceramics within quiet, artisanal rooms, so a living room reads as calm and crafted, where the mineral and ceramic material of southern Italy define a warm, sun-bleached room rather than a decorated one.

What it represents: It represents quiet, artisanal character through a earth neutral palette and the recognisable visual language of Puglian.

Why it works here: Here, the smooth Gush walls and softly textured Raffles limewash give clay pottery, raw timber, handmade ceramics a coherent backdrop, making the theme practical for the home.

How it feels at home

Prana on the main walls keeps the Puglian scheme lighter, airier and practical for living room / dining. Cotton Candy as the Raffles R.LIMEWASH feature wall gives a subtle mineral layer that fits clay pottery, raw timber, handmade ceramics. The warm undertone makes the room feel settled and welcoming, while the limewashed focal wall adds sun-baked texture without making the home feel heavy.
