How a One-Day HDB Repaint Runs
The schedule for an occupied flat, so you know exactly what your day looks like.
- 8.30am — Setup. Crew arrives, furniture shifted to room centres and wrapped, floors and skirtings masked, ventilation set up.
- 9.00am — Prep. Cracks, hairlines and nail holes filled and sanded. Damp or mould-prone areas treated before any paint goes on.
- 10.30am — Sealer. Anti-mould sealer coat rolled across all walls and ceilings — the step most quotations omit.
- 12.30pm — First topcoat. Applied room by room while the supervisor checks coverage and edges.
- 3.30pm — Second topcoat. Cut-in lines, ceiling edges and door frames finished.
- 6.00pm — Handover. Clean-up, furniture back in place, walkthrough with you. Touch-up window available the next day.

What is not included in the package?
Wallpaper removal, extensive skim-coating of badly damaged walls, structural or spalling concrete repair, external facade work and specialty finishes such as limewash or microcement are quoted separately. Anything outside scope is flagged during the walkthrough, before work starts.
Can you paint an occupied flat while we live in it?
Yes. For occupied flats we work room by room, wrap and shift furniture to the centre, use low-odour paints with mechanical ventilation, and hand back each room usable the same evening. Most families stay in the flat throughout.
How does the 5-year warranty work?
The warranty covers non-structural peeling and workmanship defects for 5 years from handover — if a surface peels or a workmanship issue appears, we return and rectify it at no cost.
