Anti-Mould & Waterproof Paint, Engineered for Singapore Humidity

Why we standardised on Zinsser

We have specified, mis-specified, and replaced almost every interior paint sold in Singapore. Zinsser is the system that stayed on the wall. Owned by Rust-Oleum, made in the U.S., continuously formulated since 1849 — a longer R&D runway than any Asian emulsion brand on the market. Designed for high-humidity, high-mould-pressure environments — exactly the conditions inside a Singapore bedroom at 78% RH.

Pico X Health applies Zinsser on every Signature painting service — HDB, BTO, condo resale and exterior repaints. Same system across the line.

The three Zinsser pillars we use

1. Perma-White Interior — walls and ceilings

Self-priming, mould-and-mildew-resistant interior film. Mildewcide is bonded into the paint matrix, not sprayed on after — it doesn't wash off with the first wipe.

2. WaterTite LX — where water wants in

Water-based hydrostatic waterproofer for bathrooms, planter walls, roof gardens, below-grade concrete. Cures flexible: breathes vapour, blocks liquid water — the right physics for a Singapore wet wall.

3. Atelier finishes — eggshell & satin

Standard Pico X Health interior application uses Zinsser interior in eggshell (10–25 gloss) for living, dining, bedrooms; satin (26–40 gloss) for master bedroom, study, dressing area. Matte reserved for ceilings only.

The Pico X Health Atelier Colour Library

265 shades, curated for how each tone behaves under Singapore's two dominant lighting conditions: high-Kelvin daylight through a HDB casement window, and warm 2700K LED at night. Each shade is a PXA code (e.g. PXA-1002 · Morning Linen) tied to a poetic name our designers use in client briefs. Browse the complete shop catalogue below and buy your chosen paint directly.

What this means for your project

• One system end-to-end. Same brand on walls, waterproofing, and accent — fewer compatibility risks.
• One trained crew. Painters rehearsed on Zinsser's mix ratios and recoat windows.
• Backed by Pico X Health workmanship. The paint is one input; application and supervision is the rest.
