Milky Cream Series — SPC microcement-vinyl · dry areas only

Microcement-Look SPC Flooring Singapore

Can microcement-look SPC flooring be used in bathrooms?

No. Pico X Health microcement-look SPC is for dry areas only, such as living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and hallways. The 5mm rigid SPC plank has a 0.5mm wear layer and waterproof face, but click-lock seams are not a continuous waterproof skin for toilets or bathrooms.

Microcement-look SPC. For dry-area floors.

The Pico X Health Milky Cream Series — 5mm rigid SPC, 0.5mm wear layer, click-lock — engineered to match real microcement on dry-area floors (living, dining, bedrooms, hallways). For toilets and bathrooms we specify authentic microcement plaster, not SPC — click-lock seams in the splash zone are not a continuous waterproof skin.

How microcement-look SPC is installed

  1. Site check. We check the existing tile or screed for flatness, hollow spots and moisture. Anything unsound is flagged before a box is ordered.
  2. Prep. Sweep, spot-level and lay the manufacturer's underlay. No hacking, no debris disposal, no reinstatement of skirting lines.
  3. Set-out. Plank direction is set along the longest sightline or the main light source, so the microcement grain reads continuous rather than striped.
  4. Click-lock laying. Planks float — no glue, no nails. Perimeter expansion gap is kept and covered by skirting or trim.
  5. Trims and handover. Door bars, skirting and threshold strips fitted; the floor is walkable the same day.

A typical 3-room HDB is laid in one to two working days. Because the floor floats, it can be lifted and relaid later if you reconfigure a room.

Microcement SPC flooring FAQs

can i use spc microcement-vinyl in the toilet or bathroom?

No. We do not recommend SPC vinyl planks for any wet area. The plank face is waterproof but the click-lock seams between planks are not a continuous waterproof skin — and those seams sit in the splash zone around the floor trap and shower. For wet-area floors we specify authentic microcement plaster instead.

what brand of spc do you install?

We install the Pico X Health Milky Cream / Creamy Milk Series under Pico X Health. It is a 5mm SPC plank with a 0.5mm wear layer, 312mm × 1220mm, 24.58 sqft per box, click-lock — engineered to match real microcement cream tones.

does it lift over existing hdb tile?

In dry-area rooms, no. The click-lock floats over flat, sound tile. We site-check the floor first. If any tile is hollow or loose, we flag it before laying.

is the plank really waterproof?

The plank face is rigid-core and 100% waterproof. But the click-lock seams between planks are not a continuous waterproof skin — which is why we do not specify SPC for wet-area floors (those get plaster).

how long does it last?

The 0.5mm wear layer is residential-grade and rated for 15–20 years of normal dry-area foot traffic. The rigid SPC core does not warp or expand in Singapore humidity.
